Blues heading to South Africa

The Blues, ably assisted by clubman Will Frewen, have been on an extraordinary fundraising drive and are travelling out to South Africa on pre-season tour in March. Follow their progress through the results section of our website. 

It has been announced that they will be outfitted by Admiral. Admiral is a World renowned supplier of soccer and cricket apparel.  They currently supply the West Indies Cricket Board; the WT20 World Champions. Admiral proudly supplies Professional and National Sports programs around the World.

MCCU players abroad

Charlie Ellison is off to Abu Dhabi as part of the MCC Universities Combined squad. They will play the MCC Young Cricketers amongst others

Freddie Coleman is in Barbados with Warwickshire CCC. Recently announced as having signed his first professional contract with the club whilst still studying here, the Scotsman is relishing the opportunity, and the sun!

Henry Edwards, Simon Watkins and Mike Barnard are representing Oxford MCCU in a combined English Universities team to play at the Red Bull Campus Cricket Twenty20 World Finals in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Red Bull sponsor highly competitive Campus Cricket leagues in Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. One University from each country have progressed through the competion to the World Finals, which also involves an invitational side from Australia and another from England.
