Men's and Women's Blues complete their BUCS seasons

This week, the Men's and Women's Blues teams have completed their respective BUCS campaigns with some excellent performances.
On Tuesday, the Men's Blues beat their neighbours Oxford Brookes by 4-wickets thanks to an excellent bowling display by Justin Clarke & Chris Mingard. The batting chase was anchored by Amogh Karpe and Henry Nicholls with a small cameo from Toby Brown at the end to seal a memorable victory Scorecard.
Wednesday's action saw the Women's Blues play Nottingham 2s at Marston. Jemima Vereker made this day her own, scoring a fantastic 179* in a 199 run victory Scorecard. The highlights of this spectacular innings can be seen below.#
On Friday, with a younger side the Men's Blues took on Cardiff UCCE - one of the strongest teams in the league with many National Counties and county 2nd XI cricketers. Saqlain Choudhary and Justin Clarke in their final BUCS games for OUCC were the standout performers with 5-48 and the first men's hundred of the year respectively. Unfortunately, OUCC couldn't quite get over the line but this performance bodes well for future years in the National Premier League Scorecard.
