The club was deeply saddened to hear of the passing last year of Paton McPherson Fenton, who reported on OUCC for many years for the Oxford Mail, Wisden and in the national papers. Beyond work it was quite simply his passion, with many long hot summers spent in the Parks, more often that not with his golden retreiver.
The family presented us with a plaque to remember Paton, which has been placed in the press box in his usual spot.
