Following the ECB announcement of 24th April, extending the delay on professional cricket until 1st July, there will be no OUCC cricket until at least that date. This means, regrettably, that the Men’s 50 over Varsity match at Lord’s scheduled for 7th June and the Women’s 50 over Varsity match at Wormsley scheduled for 16th June, will not now take place.
Later in the summer we will explore whether it is possible for these matches, and the T20 Varsity day, to be played at later dates, subject to further advice from the government, the ECB and the University.
